Day 4

Have you ever been on a team that you were really proud of? Maybe it was soccer team or the school band or you were a part of the cast in the school play. It’s true - When your team looks good, you look good, so being apart of a winning team is pretty important. I remember when I was 7 years old and I was on the famed “All Star Sports” blue team who went undefeated in tee-ball that season (maybe you’ve heard of us?), well anyway – that was one team I was really proud to be on! I wore my All Star Sports hat and t-shirt as much as I could get away with it because I wanted everyone to know that my team was undefeated and were World Series champs.

Now that you are apart of the family of God with your decision to follow Jesus Christ, you can be very proud of our team! Being a part of the team requires you to take one more important step – get involved in a church that helps you grow in your faith. There are a lot of great churches out there but a truly great church is a place where people are proud to be a part of the team. Every church is looking for people who are excited to be there, and for those who want to get involved and make it a great place to be.

Starting today – find a church and get involved. If you don’t have one – ask some of your friends (like the one who invited you) where they go to church and go with them. Try to become an active participant in regular services and look for ways to serve others too.

*I will thank the Lord with all my heart as I meet with his godly people. How amazing are the deeds of the Lord! All who delight in him should ponder them. Pslams 111:1-2 (NLT)*

**Challenge: Find a youth group around you and start attending regularly and get involved from day #1.**
