PRAY

-              Ask the coach if you can lead the team in prayer before a game
-              Gather friends and start a prayer gathering on campus or a prayer group 
-              Organize See You At the Pole
-              Pray over your meal 
-              Pray for your principal 
-              Pray for three people that you don’t get along with
-              Thank God for the people in your first period class

LOVE

-              Learn how to be a real friend
-              Have your group put an encouraging advertisement in the school yearbook 
-              Invite your youth pastor to speak in class
-              Visit kids from school who are sick in the hospital 
-              Be willing to listen to students going through a tough time
-              Invite your youth leader to eat lunch with you and your friends
-              Each lunch with someone who looks lonely
-              Treat your teachers with respect, including showing up to class and being engaged
in class
-              If someone doesn’t show up for a day or two, ask them about it when they get back 
-              Don’t join in when others are making fun of someone, but stand up for others
-              If someone opens up a little, take time to listen 
-              Take people seriously
-              Compliment people when they do something well 
-              Challenge close Christian friends when they seem to be doing things that don’t
match up with what they say they believe
-              Smile and make eye contact with people who don’t seem to feel good about
themselves.
-              Talk respectfully about your parents 
-              Don’t say bad or hurtful things about another person
-              When you get angry, give yourself time to cool down before saying too much or
about the person who ticked you off.
-              Initiate conversations with especially shy people 
-              Avoid being critical of other people’s choices or beliefs, especially if they are not
Christians
-              Tell the student government that you appreciate the time they put into their jobs 

SERVE

-              Be a positive example 
-              Be a servant
-              Organize a study group for a big test 
-              Talk to the student council about student problems and offer solutions
-              See a need, meet a need
-              Say at least one encouraging thing to someone every day 
-              Look for opportunities to forgive people who hurt you 
-              Treat everyone the way you’d want to be treated  

GIVE

-              Invite friends to your house after a game
-              Offer to spend extra time practicing with someone who is struggling with a sport 
-              Share your lunch 
-              Go to your friend’s musical performances 
-              Offer rides 
-              Make birthday cards for people who would least expect one from you
-              When having lunch with your friends, ask an unlikely person to join you and include
him or her in your conversation
-              Invite people over to your house (if that’s okay with your parents) 
-              If you are on a team, give your best effort 

TELL

-              Write an article for the school newspaper
-              Talk to the administration about an elective class on the Bible as literature 
-              Gather friends and conduct a voluntary Bible study 
-              Give Christian evangelistic material, like the Book of Hope or Life Book, to non
Christians
-              Send a note of congratulations to students winning awards throughout the school
year. Enclose a Jesus thought in the note.
-              Invite a friend to your youth service or activities
-              Give a speech, do a research paper, write a poem, make an art project about Jesus
-              Give a report on a Christian book or person 
-              Perform a Christian song or skit for a talent show or share Christian music 
-              Set a goal to share your faith story with at least one person this year 
-              When it’s natural, talk about Jesus, be ready to share your faith story
-              Offer to disciple a Christian student who is younger than you
-              Be ready to defend your faith and ask respectful, challenging questions 
-              When people ask you why you are so different, be ready to tell them about Jesus 
-              Carry your Bible
-              Be a person of integrity in everything you do. (Academics, friendships, conversation
and actions)
-              Go out for a sport or group with people you don’t know very well
